My friend and awesome long time customer Suzanne has donated the use of her family's land.. full of barns, and fields and SKY for us to use for a mini session! I can hardly wait!

We are having this awesome Mini session day April 30.... the timess are: 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 3:00, 3:30, 4:00, 4:30, and 5:00
To book your mini session just email me your day and time... and then email or call us with a credit card. A deposit of $350 is required............ $300 of which will all apply to your order. However.. if the entire day is solid booked ... ALL $350 WILL APPLY to your order...making it sitting fee FREE! SO Invite your friends and everyone wins!
This Mini session day we are also giving you 40% off Gallery wraps and Metal art prints. You have seen my metal art before...
We just LOVE IT!!!!! Several other customers now sport them on their walls as well. They are so unique and beautiful, and PERFECT for this event!
We suggest NO changes of clothing out here, and there are NO dressing rooms or bathroom facilities to use while on this location. We will email you directions a week prior to the event. If you are bringing a vehicle or pet or horse or something.. please confirm this with me prior to!
Please also remember this is NATURE. There exists in nature things such as thorns, poison ivy, critters, and bugs. So if these things freak you, or your children out... probably not the best Mini session to book! (We'll have other days coming I promise)
Our prices have undergone several changes since January................ but we finally got it figured out and they are set! The new things are:
minimum order is $300 (up only $50 from last year- most of you were well over this anyhow)
NO sheets any longer- we switched to our lab that has been printing our gorgeous coffee table books over the years..........no longer using a local lab, and they do NOT Offer Sheets for portrait printing. The quality however, is unsurpassed. We were shocked at the difference and are in love.
This in turn, opened up the ability for us to switch around quick n painless and post our events online so others who live further away can order very inexpensively just like you did at QP DAY, and allowed for us to make another important change YOU ALL ASKED FOR... the ability to purchase your images !
We changed quick n painless to purchasing an image because most of you were doing it anyhow... and now that opened up to you being able to pick your own out, and if you wish to order from other images you now have the chance.. at the same low rates as at a QP day! My local lab certainly did not offer this! And it just makes things so much better!
We also created a "Digital" session and "Digital Nosh club". So those of you who wish to always just purchase images can do so without having to purchase any portraits... though we do also offer a discount with those sessions on Alacarte so if you do want us to print that gorgeous metal print for your wall, you can do so at a discount!
The books also went up in price because quite frankly, we were not ever making that work out. They take quite a few hours to create, and we were always taking a loss on those, so we did have to make a change in price on those, but those of you that love and purchase them, know they are worth every penny!
We also do not offer the little hard board books any longer. Because that company is so bad about mixing up pages, shipping things at outrageous prices and the fact that we have so much time involved with creating the book, paying shipping, printing the pictures, paying another shipping and then them messing them up, and paying MORE shipping.....we decided there is no way we can charge a reasonable amount for them, and be able to offer them up. We all love them. They are awesome.. but totally not worth it in the end.

Our next mini is also on the books for May15th...... a sunday... same times as above... and this Mini is with our beloved MATER the TRUCK.
This one will take place on our property, so you will have access to bathrooms and changes of clothes if you need those. Email me any time to book either session!
Easter Quick n painless is also coming up.......April 2, usual hours.. 9-5, closed for lunch 1-2). We hope to shoot our samples soon, and get them up for you, but meanwhile, I'll give you a quick description of it, so you can prepare! Some of you may remember it from a few years back............. only this year we are using a baby blue background. We will put a humongous pile of easter basket grass on the floor, and scatter a bunch of giant pastel colored eggs all around a giant chocolate easter bunny! We will also have our little live bunnies and duckies as usual!
Because we are not doing QP the old fashioned way, we can also now remove the easter props if you would like to just have the plain baby blue background and a chair or plain.. since the scene does not always have to be exactly the same any longer. Just specify when you come in that day.
Please note we will have LIVE RABBITS AND DUCKS... if you are in any way allergic to these farm animals, PLEASE do not come in the building. We are not responsible for any allergic reactions!
Ok, I think that's all of my updates!!!!! Im working on a new blog too.....hahahahaha.. because I am SO good at writing this one!!!!!! right!? Anyhow.. I'll let you know when its launching........ meantime, I'll give you a hint at its Topic.... " Cupcake goes Caveman". Who can guess what THAT Means?
